Ok, ok, Photo II gets left out and it isn't fair. Now you guys can get your instructions and tips in one place, too. (Everyone cheer! YAY!)
1. So, first, make sure your Overcoming Boundaries photos are finished. You should have 1 which focuses on a person and one which focuses on an object. Name your projects lastname_firstname_person.jpg and lastname_firstname_object.jpg
2. Drop your renamed, finished tutorial files in the Photo II turn in folder.
3. We have been asked to do another project for the school, kind of like Bulldog Bucks. KB in the bookroom wants to make READ posters for the library. You need to know what these look like, so do a google search for "READ posters", or "80s read posters".
4. KB wants to reach out to all the teachers in the school, so each teacher makes their own READ poster. Then we will select the best to be printed poster size and display in the library. Your Photo II period will be in charge of the teachers who have their prep at the same time as your class. So, period 2 deals with the teachers who have period 2 prep. That way we won't ever interrupt their class for a photo.
5. Check the list on the wall. Divide up the number of teachers by the number of photo II students in your period. Choose who will deal with what teachers for that period. Try to keep it even. Write this down! Make a list.
6. Look up the teacher emails on the Turlock High School website. Add these emails to your list.
7. Compose an email explaining our purpose, and include the following link, which provides examples. http://bookriot.com/2013/12/03/celebrity-read-posters-80s-90s/
Word this email professionally. Double check for spelling and grammar errors. It should be politely asking for their participation and explaining what we will be doing with the photos/posters. Include the who, what, when, where, why.
8. Do not send the email yet. I want to double check them.
